What to ask a Rottweiler breeder
Ask for both parents' results for OFA Hips, OFA Elbows, Cardiac Echo, JLPP Testing, Eye CERF. Results should be checkable by OFA or registry number, not a verbal assurance.
Breeder licensing in Massachusetts
Massachusetts requires a kennel license, issued by the city or town clerk, for a pack or collection of dogs on a single premise, including a commercial breeder kennel. Municipalities set the numeric threshold.
No state issues a breed-specific breeder license, and a state license never replaces a USDA license or local zoning.
