Common Dalmatian health concerns
Deafness, Urinary stones (hyperuricosuria), Hip dysplasia, Skin allergies. Ask the breeder which of these the parents were screened for, and for results you can check.
Breeder licensing in Connecticut
Connecticut requires a Kennel license, issued by the town clerk where the kennel is located, not by the state if you sell more than 5 litters in a twelve-month period.
No state issues a breed-specific breeder license, and a state license never replaces a USDA license or local zoning.
