OFA-verified means we matched a clearance in the OFA public database on a Australian Shepherd the breeder bred. A breeder without a match may still health test; we only count results we could check. 1 of these listings has an open red flag; each profile shows the evidence and how to dispute it.

Common Australian Shepherd health concerns
Hip dysplasia, Epilepsy, MDR1 gene mutation, Eye defects (CEA, cataracts). Ask the breeder which of these the parents were screened for, and for results you can check.
Breeder licensing in Connecticut
Connecticut requires a Kennel license, issued by the town clerk where the kennel is located, not by the state if you sell more than 5 litters in a twelve-month period.
No state issues a breed-specific breeder license, and a state license never replaces a USDA license or local zoning.
