If you and/or your family are thinking about getting a golden retriever puppy, I highly recommend checking out Boise Goldens. It has truly been the best experience. Katie and her family are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, communicative, and kind. The process for applying to be on the litter list was very easy and Katie answered all of my questions as well as walked me through the entire process. In the weeks leading up to getting our puppy, she would send photos/videos and provided a complete list of things we needed to know about potty training, sleeping, socialization, items needed on the day of pick up as well as items that would be helpful in puppy's transition to our home, and so much more. I refer to the "Everything You need to know" often. One of my favorite moments was getting to Facetime with our little guy. When it was time to pick up our puppy (we traveled from out of state) she coordinated a time slot of pick up and we had time in their beautiful home as we got to meet our little guy. At pick up we were provided with notes from the first vet appointment, information about his microchip, a 3 day sample of the Nuvet wafer he had been eating, and a bag of the kibble for us to take. Since coming home with our pup, Katie has reached out to check in on how things are going and answered questions that I have had. We are so in love with the newest member of our family, Maverick, and feeling beyond thankful that we chose Boise Goldens.

Boise Goldens is amazing! I would 10/10 recommend!! Katie is so kind and knowledgeable. The puppies are raised in their home with their family. Our puppy has the sweetest personality! She came to us with a great foundation for training. I can’t say enough good things about Katie and her puppies!

My husband and I have always been dog lovers and have only ever adopted dogs from shelters. However, we decided we would like to raise a puppy from the start and found the page of Boise Goldens. It was very nice being able to answer almost all of my questions from just their webpage and the questions that weren’t answered Katie was more than willingly to talk with me about. From the moment we submitted an application we were informed of the process every step of the way and got to meet our puppy on several different occasions thanks to Boise Goldens initiative of early socialization. Winnie came to us potty trained, mellow tempered, and full of snuggles and love. She also came into a 2 dog home, making her the 3rd, which didn’t phase her at all! Her adjustment into our home was very smooth, a credit I can only give to Boise Goldens early training. We couldn’t imagine our life without Winnie and couldn’t have chosen a better breeder than Boise Goldens!

10/10 experience with Boise goldens! Katie was outstanding with communicating, answering all my questions, and sending little updates of our puppy as we waited for pickup day. Can’t recommend them enough and we are obsessed with our little guy! So grateful to have found Boise goldens when it was time for us to find our forever puppy 🫶🏼

Our entire experience with Boise Goldens from first contact through delivery of our puppy was truly wonderful. Katie and her family are really friendly and inviting people who raise the most loving Goldens. They are just a few minutes away from the Boise Airport, which is a really nice airport that also has a clean indoor dog relief area. Our puppy, now six months old, is super friendly, smart, barks very seldom, loves to play and socialize with other dogs, and has no guarding issues or any signs of aggression. We would highly recommend Boise Goldens.
