Bringing home a Great Dane puppy is such an exciting experience, and Charlotte made the entire process absolutely incredible. One of the things we appreciated most was Charlotte’s top-notch communication. Her weekly updates were something we genuinely looked forward to every week! She kept us informed, shared updates as our puppy grew, and made us feel like we were part of the journey even before we brought our puppy home. What an unbelievably excellent experience. Charlotte is a phenomenal breeder who clearly has a passion for the breed. Her level of professionalism was top-notch and her care of, and love for, her puppies shone throughout the entire process... She treats them like the little furry princes and princesses that they are. If you’re looking for a Dane who is balanced, socialized, with a great temperament - you’ve found the right place. I got Titus from Blue Axel Danes in 2017 at 8 weeks old and he is the most solid citizen of a dog I could have asked for. Very loving, great with kids, likes other dogs, and the vet tells me at his ripe age of 9.5 years old he’s in great condition. Truly cannot say enough kind things about Charlotte as she was always available for questions by text and loved updates from him. Highly suggest them if you’re looking to add a Dane to the family!

I don't know where to start. Go fill out an application and place a deposit, you will not regret getting a puppy from BAD! It is worth the wait and drive to go pick up your pup so they can have an easier transition. Charlotte and her family have just been wonderful to work with. I knew I wanted a Great Dane and when I finally got a fenced yard I started looking for breeders and researching information. I talked with several other breeders, but Charlotte made me feel so comfortable from the get go! She is always communicative and helpful. She goes above and beyond to make sure you get the pup you’re head over heels in love with. From the moment Beau was born, I told my family I hope I can adopt this one. What a blessing he has been. My older dog was grieving when he lost his life buddy and now has a new job with babysitting Beau. I was also very surprised how calm and chill Beau was from day one! I was prepared for all the puppy experiences and somehow it has been a breeze. This is a testament to how Charlotte socializes and loves her puppies and the genetic quality of every single pup! Also, on the day I was traveling 11 hours to go get Beau I had car trouble and didn't end up leaving until late afternoon, Charlotte met me at 11 at night! She even bathed him. I was also so incredibly grateful for the goody bag she gave me at pickup, she truly cares where her pups go. I could go on and on. When you choose Blue Axel Danes you are choosing a community and I wish every puppy parent could experience this!

She was most helpful in helping us with answers to our questions. Her weekly updates let us see how our puppy was doing and kept us updated with everything from eating, potty training, vaccines, weight and personality traits. Every puppy, including our Margo, is well cared for from birth until the time they are ready to join their new family and groomed appropriately to ensure a great transition to their new home.
