Adopting Remi (aka Zuko) from Seeking Shalom Acres has been an absolute blessing for us. After losing our two beloved dogs, Ella and Oliver, to old age, our hearts were shattered. I have had the best experience with Seeking Shalom Acres! I absolutely recommend getting your puppy from them. Melody is so kindhearted and lovely to talk to. She goes above and beyond to raise healthy, well trained puppies. I just brought my puppy home and she is absolutely perfect! Melody is so organized and quick to respond to emails, which I really appreciated. She kept me informed during the entire process. She posts pictures and videos of the puppies as they grow, which is so exciting to watch! When I had reached out to Melody about getting a puppy, I had just recently lost my soul dog. She helped to heal my heart and turned my grief into a beautiful experience of finding my new sweet companion. She matches her puppies to their owners by doing puppy personality testing and learning about the prospective parents lifestyles and desires of what their ideal puppy would be like. The experience I had with Melody and her family was exceptional! They answered all of my questions and kept in complete communication every step of the process of choosing and delivering my sweet angel, Levi. They Took exceptional care of him, and since he was a little older when I got him they had obviously put so much time and effort into loving him and socializing him, and working on his training. He is completely healthy and is the most loving special dog I’ve ever had or met, and I am a veterinary technician, so I’ve met a lot of dogs! I love that they’re holistic, and I love how much detail they put into educating each owner about nutrition and every aspect of puppy care. If you’re looking for a reputable breeder and want a sweet healthy puppy, Melody will help you pick the right one for you! There really are no words to explain the wonderful experience I had with her, how much I appreciate how much time her daughter obviously Spends socializing and caring for each puppy. They also work with puppies to desensitize them from noise phobia, which showed because he doesn’t mind things like fireworks and storms 😍 They are SO educated as well as work to educate owners about puppy care, development, nutrition, and training. My entire experience with Melody and Seeking Shalom Acres was more than I could have hoped for. I have never worked with a breeder who was so responsive, available to provide detailed answers to my many, many questions, and accommodating. I have also never worked with a breeder who seemed sincerely interested that her pups remain happy and healthy throughout their life. This is their business, but it is clearly also a labor of love––both for her pups as well as the families who adopt them. Melody was has a wealth of information to raise a dog holistically. Everything they do is professional and detailed oriented. They provide a wealth of professionally written and organized information. Seeking Shalom Acres raises her pups in the home with her husband and nine children. As a result, my puppy was already well socialized and confident, and nearly 100% potty trained. I have never experienced bringing a puppy home and after just two days was successfully going potty on her wee pads 90% of the time. It was the easiest transition/training period ever! Seeking Shalom Acres has an informative and fun Facebook and YouTube channel. Once I purchased our puppy, they provided a complete puppy manual, a puppy checklist....I have never been so prepared to bring a new puppy home. Melody also provides lifetime support which I have used extensively. Melody responds immediately and thoroughly through text or email.
