Barksdalelabradoodles

My family has purchased three labradoodles from Barksdale...2012, 2015 & 2022. Izzie (2012) was towards the beginning of Barksdale's business. He was healthy and well adjusted. Chester (2015) was anxious with people and died of lymphoma at 7 years old. Panda (2022) has EXTREME social anxiety and is passing soon of lymphoma at THREE years old. By 2022, Barksdale had dozens of litters a year and sweet Panda had worms and urine stains on her white fur when we got her at 5 months old. While I think that Al loves dogs, his business has gotten way too big to the point that it quite possibly meets the criteria to be called a puppy mill. Something obviously happened to Panda in her early months at Barksdale to cause her to be so timid. Likely was at the hands of an employee there. Al told me he would refund Panda's purchase price and her medical costs. However, he only refunded her purchase price. So I no longer trust anything he ever told me.

From the very first encounter, Al Gordy and his staff were amazing. Barksdale's customer service is unparalleled-- seriously, it's the best. Al worked diligently to identify the perfect puppy for us and we were not easy to please. Our expectations were high and Al delivered. Our vet was impressed with the level of preventative vet care provided to our boy while in Al's care. She commented that it was uncommon to see a breeder this thorough. We were/are impressed by our sweet boy's temperament and people-loving nature. The icing on the cake is that he's absolutely beautiful! Thanks to Al and the Barksdale team! We have had such a great experience with Barksdale Labradoodles. They are professional in every dealing. When you talk with them you can feel their enthusiasm for the dogs and this bread in particular. This is not a puppy mill operation it is professional breeding. We loved the whole experience our 8 year old daughter got her dog and they made the experience beyond wonderful. Our dog is awesome I have had many dogs in my life I have never had such a well behaved smart dog. Our Labradoodle is great! Thank you Barksdale Labradoodles!
