Wowzers… all I can say is: Serena and her team are AMAZING. After my Buddy passed away unexpectedly, I started the search for my new forever friend. I literally looked across the entire country trying to find the right puppy. And while so many breeders seemed to be only after the dollar, Badland was the complete opposite. Serena and I were in communication for over three weeks, going back and forth while she educated me on everything I needed to know about her doodles. I never once felt pressured to buy — something I definitely experienced with others. Serena is SO knowledgeable, helpful, and professional at what she does. I truly cannot recommend them enough. Serena is wonderful and her puppies amazing. I had been wanting one for a long time. She knew I was looking for one to train to replace my current service dog. Out of the blue I get a call from her. A family was having to unexpectedly and unfortunately rehome a male and a female pup they had gotten through the years from Serena. Serena remembered me and chose the sweet 10 month old male pup as my perfect match! I may have only adopted him when he was 10 months old but he was meant for me since birth.

This was my second adoption from Badlands St. Berdoodles, and once again they exceeded every expectation. Their communication, transparency, and genuine care for their dogs are unmatched. Both of our Berdoodles are healthy, well-socialized, and have incredible temperaments. When you return to the same breeder twice, that says everything. I rarely write reviews but I do want to take the time to wholeheartedly recommend Serena and Badland St. Berdoodles because it is so well deserved. In this day and age, finding a breeder that does things the right way and is passionate about matching the right pup to the right family is very difficult. Many breeders let families choose puppies based on colors or "cuteness" and immediately give puppies away at 8 weeks failing to consider more important factors such as personality of the puppy, the new owners' lifestyle (do they have other pets, kids etc.). Instead, Serena and her family keep the pups longer, do two rounds of personality testing and focus on making sure that the puppy matches your lifestyle which is essential and makes a huge difference when integrating the pup into your life. I cannot stress how many people have been amazed with our pup's demeanor because of all of the hard work that Serena put into him. For example, early exposure to grooming, numerous trips to public places and stores, proper leash walking, correct potty habits and basic commands. Our puppy came home to us and the transition was seamless. Serena takes the time to answer every question, keep you in the loop during the first months of their life via facebook live sessions/photos and on top, is such a kind person. She really cares about her puppies and their continued success. We are so happy that we found her and couldn't be happier with this experience. Our puppy has been so respectful to our senior dog as well; which is amazing considering he is still a puppy. Working with Serena was one of the best experiences I’ve had. She is so responsive and you can tell she LOVES these dogs. The care and attention she puts in to each puppy is astonishing and what you receive is a well-mannered, chill, smart and well adjusted pup. We were fortunate enough to welcome Ralph into our family and he is beyond perfection. He is amazing with my two young boys, and so sweet to our older goldendoodle. He’s a dream and so is Serena. Trust me when I say going through her to find your new family member is the best decision you could possibly make!
