We could not be happier with our experience with Heather and her beautiful Avant Garde dobies. From the very beginning, Heather was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and genuinely caring. It was clear right away that their dogs are loved as family members and that the health, temperament, and well-being of their puppies are their top priorities. Our puppy is absolutely amazing — beautiful, confident, intelligent, affectionate, and has the sweetest personality. We can tell how much time and care was invested in giving her the best possible start before coming home to us. She has quickly become such a special part of our family, and we feel incredibly lucky to have her. What truly sets this breeder apart is the support and communication throughout the entire process. Heather was always available to answer questions, provide guidance, and make sure we felt prepared. You can tell she genuinely cares about where their puppies go and continue to be there even after the puppy comes home. If you are looking for a Doberman from a breeder who truly cares about the breed and the families who bring their puppies home, I cannot recommend her highly enough. We are beyond grateful for our beautiful girl and would absolutely choose this breeder again!

I just took delivery of a beautiful red euro male from Heather. She put up with me changing my mind of different things several times. She updated with pics, posts and video from him being 1 day old to exactly 8 weeks when I flew in to collect him. He’s a big healthy pup, and I / we are delighted. I’m in Florida and couldn’t find what I wanted here. I would have no hesitation in recommending Heather and Avant Guard if you are in the Market for a Dobe.

I bought a Doberman puppy two years ago. She has been the coolest pup I've ever had. She's amazing with kids and babies, loving, protective, goofy and so playful. The vet is impressed with her because she has zero health issues. We've also switched both dogs to the food recommended by Heather and it's been wonderful. Follow Heather's advice and you'll be in great shape.

Let me start by saying that working with Heather and her husband Eric and viewing their dog program has been nothing short of exceptional. I was referred to them from a client of my own for my pest control company that was a veterinarian technician. A separate client was a veterinarian owner in the Seacoast New Hampshire area that referred me to them as well when I cross referenced the referral. Her program with her games and studs are nothing short of exceptional. They are frankly the best in my opinion that I've ever viewed. I've had the opportunity to see where the dames and the studs stay and see where the young pups are and the care nutrition and quality of the operation that they have on a first-hand basis. I can promise you that if you had that ability to view you would understand where I'm coming from and understand that they are 100% top notch. This isn't a backyard breeder this is not a scenario where you're unsure if these individuals are qualified to do what they do with this caliber of quality European Dobermans. In short when I have two well-respected veterinarian technicians and veterinarian owners refer me and I go and view it myself I don't know what else to say other than get on the waiting list. You might get lucky and have the ability to obtain a puppy quicker however the waiting list is legit I waited 8 months for mine and I don't regret a single second of it. Richie and Amanda

Heather and Eric are amazing. Heather kept me posting whole pregnancy, once pups were born, and through out the duration of puppy being with her. Sent me plenty of pictures/videos, even video chatted. Answered any questions, helped me before and after receiving our baby. She always answers any question I have still to this day. Avant-Garde is family and they treat you as such. They drove to meet me at an airport, since I’m further away. Over all amazing, can’t wait to add another addition to our family. Everywhere we bring out baby girl we get endless compliments on her looks, size, obedience and sweet personality.
