Update 2: Our “puppy” is now 2.5 years old and still a fantastic dog. She officially became a registered therapy dog this past winter and does reading with children at the library every other week. We continue to get complements on her demeanor and adorable face every time we take her out. Still one of the best decisions we’ve ever made! Update: I wanted to update this as our puppy is now 16 months old, and is still the best dog :) She LOVES all people, but especially little children. She has been easy to train and has fit in to our household perfectly. She's really great with other dogs as well, and loves playing with all of them, no matter their size. We've also noticed after being stuck in a thunderstorm at a soccer game, that she was the only dog there who wasn't afraid of the thunder, rain, or the screaming by the children. We definitely think this is because of her early exposure to various noises when she was with Kimberly and Paul. She has grown into a beautiful dog both inside and out. We got our puppy from Kimberly & Paul, and have nothing but a wonderful experience. From the first communication with Kimberly, and all throughout our puppy's mother's pregnancy, she was excellent to work with. She's super responsive and extremely helpful (especially for new puppy parents like us!), and you can tell that she loves the dogs and puppies so much. They do extensive health checks, and expose the puppies to all sorts of noises/experiences when they're little so they develop well. We got to visit the puppies twice at their home before we picked one out, and they were generous with their time and space. We picked out little girl up at 8 weeks old and she's now 5.5 months and doing SO well! She's a silly puppy, but calm, kind, and sweet. We've had many people tell us how gorgeous and beautiful she is. We made the best choice for our family to get a puppy from Sleepy Morning Goldens, and we are so grateful to have her in our lives.

Sleeping Morning Goldens should be given 10 stars for the amazing dogs they breed and the personalized service!!! From the start of our experience Kimberly was professional, informative, and caring. Before we signed our puppy contract we asked for a house visit to meet the dogs and see their living conditions. Kimberly was more than happy to invite us into her home and we were lucky enough to view a one week old litter and three moms. From the start it was obvious that Kimberly cares deeply about her dogs and responsible breeding. Once we made our reservation Kimberly kept us informed about the process and upcoming litters. She handled the business side very professionally and fair. The most amazing part is how she and her husband, Paul, cared for the puppies once they were born and gave (almost) daily updates on Facebook about their development, both physically and socially. They take numerous steps to ensure their puppies are well breed genetically but also start off on the right path with appropriate socialization before they are sent to their forever homes. Our puppy is now 4 months old and we feel like we won the lottery!!! He is smart, wants to please, and is a wonderful addition to our family. We would highly recommend Sleepy Morning Goldens!

I am SO happy with my experience with Sleepy Morning Goldens. Kimberly and Paul were wonderful every step of the way. They were very communicative, considerate and transparent from our first conversation. It is so apparent how much they love and care about the mama dogs and the puppies. They put a great deal of time and care into preparing the puppies and their new families for success before coming home and as everyone settles in.

Kimberly and her family do such a wonderful job with their puppies. We went on the waiting list for a specific mom and dad in Jan/Feb and the moment the mom was pregnant Kim sent out an email letting us know. When the puppies were born we were able to see them all on a specific Facebook page where she not only gave us updates about the puppies via photos and videos but she also gave us all sorts of helpful information to ensure that we are successful! We have gotten puppies from other breeders but sleepy morning puppies are by far the best. Not only does she socialize them with various people and situations but she plays sounds so they don’t get scared. When we finally brought our little girl home she was fully house trained & fully kennel trained sleeping around 7 hours through the night! She has the best temperament! We also really appreciated that Kim checked in the following day to ensure we were doing okay! We would 1000% get another puppy from sleepy morning goldens!

The wait to adopt a puppy from Kimberly and Paul was truly worth it. We were especially grateful for the exceptional care provided not only by Paul and Kimberly, but also by their children. Their genuine love and concern for their puppies were evident from the start. Our admiration for them grew even more when we received our own puppy, Earl. The questions we had were promptly answered on our group Facebook page, and Kimberly even went above and beyond by offering assistance to a new puppy owner in their own home. Their dedication and support are truly top-notch. Thank you!
