Anticipating pup #2 in the spring which Lisa actually takes into consideration matching temperaments to existing dogs which shows her true passion and experience in breeding ACDs and ensuring that owners find companions and loved members of their families, not just “a dog” Even after moving over 2000 miles away, this is still and will always be our preferred breeder for ACDs!

I got my puppy Themis from Lisa at Whiteduck after I lost my red heeler after 11 years. Lisa was so fantastic to work with and was very transparent. I told her my goals for Themis was to be a Court Facility Dog (a K9 who comforts victims when testifying against their abusers - I am a Criminal Investigator in Massachusetts and New Hampshire), amd she told me how Themis was a laid back pup and she was spot on. As a Criminal Investigator, I appreciate transparency from anyone but especially about my new puppy. Shes been every level on amazing from the day we spoke about Themis. Best part was, Themis was the name I picked, so I lived that she was a breeder who allowed me to pick the name. I also appreciated that Lisa began using the name Themis with her leading up to the day I picked her up. Themis has been a wonderful addition to the family! Thank you Lisa 😊

Lisa is not only a great breeder but a kind and knowledgeable person. She takes the time to get to know you so she can match you with the perfect puppy. She was wonderful throughout the whole process from the birth of our girl to pickup day. She kept us informed and sent pictures every few weeks so we could watch our girl grow and change. This was very nice. I can’t give Lisa enough praise. We get compliments on Muffin every where we go on her beautiful coat markings personality and how well behaved she is. She is such a lovable puppy. Her and my 6 year old daughter are as thick as thieves. We recently put her in training and our trainer was very impressed with how smart well behaved she is. She has had cattle dogs before and asked where I got her because she would like to get another one in the near future. If anyone is interested in getting a cattle dog get it from Lisa. Thank you Lisa for our sweet lovable girl muffin we could not be happier.

Lisa and her team are absolutely amazing! From the very start of the adoption process to bringing Bailey home—and even to this day—Lisa has been a constant source of support. Her communication is wonderful, and she’s always available to answer questions with kindness and care. The kennel itself is clean, welcoming, and you can tell the dogs are truly well cared for. I couldn’t be happier with the experience and highly recommend Lisa and her team!

It is hard to believe that we picked up Sophie at Whiteduck Mountain Kennel seven and a half years ago. She has been our constant companion on walks, skis, snowshoes, hikes, and runs and is still going strong. Lisa is an experienced and caring breeder who loves and understands this very special breed.
