The day before my birthday in April, we lost our 9-year-old German Aussie Shepherd mix Kida (my soul dog). I dreamt about another puppy and woke up in the middle of the night. Since I couldn’t go back to sleep, I started looking to see if there was a dog like the one in my dream. I stumbled upon Savannah at Aspen Mountain Doodles on GoodDog, who had a newborn litter of mini Aussies. I reached out and told her my story. She called me that weekend and we had an instant connection. Savannah is one of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever met. We spoke for a while and laughed and cried. When she said that she breeds her dogs with temperaments that can be trained for service and therapy work, I knew her and her puppies were the right fit. I struggle with depression and anxiety, which has escalated since the loss of my brother in 2022—and now my dog Kida this year. I realized I needed more help, and a special dog would be able to provide that support. Throughout this whole process, Savannah provided tons of education on the Badass Breeders puppy curriculum, updates on the puppies, and helpful resources to prepare. She explained the temperament testing and what everything meant. Although I initially had my sights set on one puppy, she had already been picked by another family. So Savannah talked me through it and I felt much better about my decision. And our puppy Aloy is PERFECT for what I need and the best fit for our family. Savannah began using her new name and doing everything she could to set the families up for success. She regularly sent photos and videos, and the pickup experience was a dream. It was so special to be with Savannah, Lucas, and their amazing girls and enjoy time with our new pup. We went on our merry way home, but the support did not stop there. There's a FB group for AMD families to connect and get support and resources. Since we brought Aloy home, Savannah and I have been in touch nearly every day, whether I’m just sharing updates or needing advice. I am honored to call her a friend now. These dogs are more than dogs. They are so incredible and loving. Of course, puppies are A LOT of work and require so much patience, but I have never felt so prepared. We brought home “Jack” from Aspen Mountain Doodles—now proudly known as “Pepper” Jack—and he’s already the perfect adventure buddy for our crew. Savannah answered all our questions, made us feel completely comfortable, and even sent us home with a few starter supplies so we were set up for success. We can’t wait to take Pepper hiking, camping, and fishing… he’s settling in beautifully and we’re so happy to have him as part of the family! Thank you AMD! ❤️

We love our AMD pup, Echo! Our experience with AMD was, and continues to be, very positive. We’ve never had puppy before, and Savannah has been an incredible support. From all the love and and care provided to the litter before adoption day to tips, information, and guidance during her early months, Savannah is always just a text away whenever I have questions. I highly recommend AMD for anyone considering a healthy, well-adjusted, and confident puppy.

We got our puppy from Aspen Mountain Doodles and could not be happier! My mom also got her dog from her two years ago, and both of them are the sweetest, healthiest, most loving pups. You can tell right away how much care and love she puts into her dogs - they’re not only beautiful, but they have the best temperaments. My girlfriend and I both have AMD pups! We are so thankful for AMD for the time and care they put into their puppies.
