Ash River Australian Shepherds

We’ve had an awesome experience working with Angela and Ash River Australian Shepherds. We’re settling in nicely with our new boy, Tate. Angela has kept in constant contact with us from the start, all the way up to adoption day and after. I’ve sent her many, many texts along our journey, asking questions and advice. She has always responded promptly and never made me feel as if I was being a bother. I would highly recommend her if you’re thinking about adding a new puppy to your family.

Shortly after losing our beloved Aussie, Lucy, we started looking for another dog to help fill the huge void we were feeling. We originally thought we wanted an adult female with the same calm, sweet temperament Lucy had, and Angela was incredibly patient and thoughtful in helping us find the right fit. The first two mature dogs we met were absolutely wonderful — sweet, relaxed, and clearly very loved. We honestly thought we had already made our decision. Then Angela asked if we wanted to meet the 6-month-old puppy we had briefly talked about earlier. The moment Roxanne came out, she completely stole our hearts and changed everything lol. We’ve only had her for less than a week, but she’s already everything we hoped for in an Aussie — smart, loving, beautiful, hilarious, and full of personality. Honestly, even more than we expected. Angela was fantastic through the entire process — knowledgeable, honest, caring, and clearly passionate about her dogs. You can tell she genuinely wants both the dogs and their future owners to be the best possible match. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and are so grateful we found Roxanne (now Maisie)!

About 6 months ago now I got my puppy Indie from here and it was the best decision I’ve made! Angela has been amazing at answering any questions I’ve had before and after we picked her up ( which there was a good bit since this is my first Australian shepherd and my first time using a breeder). At pickup she sat with me for over an hour giving me everything I needed to know. The first time we brung her home I was a little nervous since I have 3 other small dogs at home but she fit right in. I would 100% recommend Ash river to find your next fur best friend.

My boyfriend and I have now bought 2 aussies from ash river and I highly recommend them! They are very good with their communication about everything and respond in a very quick manner! Our little Mercury and Dune are also the very best puppies we’ve had! They’re well behaved and have great temperament and colors!

We adopted Lady 2 years ago and “obsessed”would be an understatement. She’s brought so much love and light into our lives - she’s smart, funny, cuddly and such a wonderful part of our family. Angela at Ash River was wonderful to work with and we're so happy we found her. Angela is incredibly helpful throughout the process and knows what she’s doing! I suggest reaching out early and getting on the reservation list, as that allowed us the ability to pick a female blue merle from the litters when they were born 3 month's later.
