Absolutely amazing experience — I couldn't be happier with getting my Ridgeback from Diana and Guy. Diana was incredibly thoughtful, patient, generous, and communicative throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond with answering all my questions. They shared helpful tips on training, diet, and answered every question I had along the way. I ended up with the most handsome boy — I get compliments every time we go out! He’s also unbelievably cuddly, sweet, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. I feel so lucky to have found out about Apache! I actually heard about them through friends who also got their dog from Diana and Guy — and they heard about Apache through their co-workers who have two Ridgebacks from them! That kind of word-of-mouth really says a lot. Needless to say, thank you Diana and Guy for helping me find my dream dog and fur baby — and for all your kindness!

I can not say enough wonderful things about Apache Ridge Ranch! I would give them 100 stars if I could! I just received my second Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy from them (Odin) and he is the sweetest, most intelligent, boy you have ever seen! He is a gorgeous darker red wheaten with a black muzzle. I got my first light wheaten Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy who I named Rusty from Diana when I was in my 20s. He was the most well tempered, beautiful Rhodesian you have ever seen. Rusty was very easy to train, got along great with kids, dogs, cats, and people, but also was a great dog for protection- and cautious of strangers until I told him it was ok, which was helpful as I was living along. He was the joy of my life for many years until he passed. Rusty did not have any congenital health issues, and his confirmation was incredible. Throughout his lifetime I was always able to reach out to Diana just to say hi and to send her pictures of how he was doing. She loved seeing Rusty grow up and settle in with his new family. Whenever I had any questions on training tips (since that was my first dog I had as an adult), Ridgeback dos and don'ts, she was always just an email away and happy to help. Diana and her family truly love these dogs and only want what is best for them, so, if at any time, no matter the reason, you can't keep your ridgeback they will take them back no questions asked and ensure they are taken care of and give them an amazing home. The love they have for these dogs is shown by the detail-oriented care they take of them, ensuring every step of your puppy's development and socialization until your pup is ready to go to their forever home. They manage the weaning process and nutrition carefully, along with doing delicate daily stimulation exercises to help with neurological stimulation of your young puppy to help them grow up strong and healthy. They run tests for all congenital health issues that could affect your puppy, and only breed if both parents come back clear, along with having a guarantee your puppy will not get these conditions. Throughout the life of your amazing ridgeback Diana is a fantastic support system for any questions you may. She loves seeing updates on the puppies she sent into the world, however, she will never bother or pester you if you opt to never send updates, it is totally up to you! Just knowing Diana is there as someone who truly cares and loves your Rhodesian Ridgeback as much as you is incredible. The diligent health testing of the parents, puppy nutrition, along with puppy socialization and care is second to none. She also works closely with a veterinarian to ensure your puppy is microchipped and given its first vaccines and deworming for protection before you pick them up. Apache Ridge Ranch is the ONLY place to go for the healthiest, most beautiful Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Ridgebacks are the most loving companions with the most amazing breed qualities, all of which are exemplified through Diana and Apache Ridge Ranch. The pictures below are of my new Ridgeback puppy Odin that just joined our family :-)

Enjoyed getting to know Diana and Guy, and the care and love they offer to their pups. Our little Leia is amazing and is already a much loved member of our family. Over the years we and other members of our family have owned several RR and Diana and Guy are one of the best breeders we have had the pleasure of getting to know. They are always available to answer questions about the pups. Their tips, tricks and thorough paperwork were helpful and appreciated. We strongly recommend anyone interested in obtaining a RR pup contact Apache Ridge.

We got Piper and Gunnar a little over 5 years ago from Diana and Guy. Wow! Really? I had to double check that. These are my first four-legged children. I am closing in on 200 hikes with them. I can’t recall a single hike where they haven’t been complimented for their looks (health and majesty), behavior (towards other humans and dogs) and obedience by complete strangers. Diana has been an awesome resource and her knowledge of the breed and dedication to Ridgebacks is simply awesome.

This is the second Ridgeback we've been blessed to have in our lives. The first was 23 years ago and from a different breeder. While we loved him endlessly, I can say the difference in breeder experience has been night and day with Diana and Guy. We interviewed several breeders when we were ready to adopt again and it was clear to us that Apache Ridge was a notch above. They clearly understand, respect and love the breed. They answered all our questions, kept us informed with updates and photos as the puppies were born and growing, and shared training, feeding and health advice and certifications. When we met the puppies, we could tell how well cared for they were and that so much attention had been devoted to socializing them and ensuring they were healthy and well adapted. Our vet said she had never seen such an organized and thorough binder of information from a breeder. They were also impressed that he didn't have worms, which apparently isn't that common in puppies they meet for the first time. We are over the moon with Vito. He makes us laugh all day long, even when he's asserting his Ridgeback will. He's so good natured, is learning to respect our cats, is happy to meet people and kids, and is so handsome he's turning heads all over the neighborhood! Looking forward to lots of adventures and snuggles together! Thank you, Diana and Guy, for sharing this goofy boy with us!
