I got my Mini Schnauzer about three weeks ago from this breeder. I do not think he was socialized to people at all. He does fine and is friendly with me but not anyone else. He will aggressively bark and lunge at others until I grab him. I have just started him in obedience class so that way hopefully we can get him a little more socialized and the aggressive behavior stops. He does great with other dogs but not other humans. Which makes me think his only interaction was with dogs. After experiencing this behavior about a week of owning him I did a deeper dive into breeder reviews (facebook, microsoft, & yelp) and it seems as if this might be more of a puppy mill situation, which is very unfortunate because all google reviews did not seem to lead to that at all. I would not purchase from this breeder again.

We purchased an adorable Bichon-poo from Aly’s Happy Dogs and we couldn’t be any happier! Our little guy is healthy, happy, and a sweet, lovable pup. EVERYONE he meets just loves him! I highly recommend Aly’s Happy Dogs if you are looking for a fur baby!

Had an amazing experience with this breeder. We owned a schnoodle for 15 years and lost him 2 years ago. We were hesitant getting another dog because he was such a GREAT dog. Found this breeder and she was willing to work with us because our daughter is allergic to pet dander. She allowed us a trial period which NO OTHER breeder would even consider. We are absolutely thrilled with our choice. Our vet checked out our new puppy and he was in great shape. He is such a well tempered puppy and we are so thrilled with our choice and this breeder. Would recommend to anyone!

I purchased a Cavachon from this breeder and am very glad that I did. I picked out the puppy in July, but since I was going on vacation 2 weeks later I did not want to bring him home and then board him. She agreed to keep him till I returned which was really appreciated, I picked him up last week. My vet checked him out, looked at his shot record, and gave him the thumbs up. He is a happy puppy and I am glad to have him.

Meet the Breeder
Nichols Happy Dog Kennel was first started by John and Dixie Nichols back in 2003.Their granddaughter Aly has always loved working alongside Dixie helping with all the chores that go along with keeping and running the Kennel. Aly took over the kennel from Dixie in January 2015, and changed the name to Aly's Happy Dogs LLC.I have always been an animal lover. Some wonder why I have so many breeds. I actually have the breeds that I like, and feel make good family dogs. My AKC dogs are Bichons, Boston, Miniature Schnauzers, and Havanese. I also have a mini poodle male which I cross with my Bichons, and Cavaliers. I also cross my Cavaliers with Bichons, and Havanese. All of these make nice family pets. I have one Standard Poodle I cross with the OES to make F1 Sheepadoodles, and one F1 Sheepadoodle female which I breed to a Standard Poodle to get a nice large dog for people who like large dogs. They are easy going mild mannered dogs that are great with families. All puppies are dewormed, and vaccinated for Parvo, Distemper, and Adenovirus before going to their new homes. I am on 10 acres in the middle north of Indiana sitting between Fort Wayne, and South Bend. 2hrs North of Indianapolis.
