Agreed with the poster that showed Irish Wolfhounds that the buyer did not post a fair review. Don't blame a responsible breeder for a failure on the part of the purchasing party to do research, ask questions, and KNOW WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR A DOG, especially with an Akita, which is a HIGHLY intelligent, independent thinking dog that likely Monica Matz couldn't have handled anyway. They are a one person dog typically, and with the wrong owner the dog would have ultimately paid the price. NO Akita would be $300. EVER. I'm reporting the review as it is inaccurate, unfair to the breeder, and while I personally don't purchase from breeders if I can find a dog elsewhere, I would not fault responsible breeders as they do care about the living conditions of their animals.

I know nothing of this breeder, however reading through the reviews she sounds responsible and has thorough great knowledge. Having bred and shown Irish Wolfhounds in earlier years very familiar with the prices of responsibly raised pups. The review that rated this kennel at a one obviously didn’t read or hear the correct price. To sell a registered Akita for the low price buyer quoted is absurd and would definitely had me questioning the quality and intentions of breeder! It’s sad that a miss communication lowered the reviews of what sounds like an excellent breeder.

If ever purchasing an Akita puppy from this breeder, make sure you know the FULL price you are paying. I was told $300 and she was nice enough to let me do a payment plan of $100 each couple weeks but then the last day before the puppy was to be dropped off I had received a text from the breeder saying I owe $650 still and I asked what for? then she said "The puppies are $950." We discussed that she never told me the full price and she admitted to it but then told me that I would not be receiving the puppy unless i pay $950, then thankfully just refunded my $300 and I had to cancel all my prepaid and preplanned puppy classes and events and a plane ticket for our trip with our puppy in a couple months to see my in laws. So make sure you know the full price before agreeing to anything with this breeder or making future plans.

I bought my male (Kane) back in 2017! The process was so simple and Minta was the best breeder. She still is! To this day, we still talk and she has been a blessing! I couldn’t have hoped for better tempered Akita or a more knowledgeable breeder, but here we are! Kane is 2 now and he has a female Akita partner (Kadence, 1 year and 9 months old) and Minta has supported us 1000000% of the way! Highly recommend! She doesn’t just breed dogs, she loves her dogs and all the puppies, she makes sure that they are going to great loving homes! Highly recommend. I sure do brag all the time about my bears and how lucky we got with Minta as our breeder

We got our beautiful Akita a few months ago. I was very impressed with the quick response after inquiring about prices and availability of puppies. The breeder is very personable and is willing to do whatever makes you comfortable when choosing a puppy, especially making arrangements when it comes time to pick up your puppy or have them delivered. It was the first time we've gotten a puppy and we couldn't be more happy with this breeder!

Cosmic Colors can provide photos, as well, of puppies and mature Akitas. The AKC describes the Akita as ‘known to be a quiet dog… strong guarding instincts….. Akita temperament can range from calm to bouncy’.
