Aguas De Seda Portuguese Water Dogs

If anyone is looking for a Portuguese Water Dog, Aguas De Seda is definitely the right place!! Barbara is so thoughtful with making sure these puppies are well cared for and placed in good homes. You can tell she truly cares for these puppies and loves the breed. As someone who did not know much about the breed prior, Barbara was incredibly helpful and gave us a whole binder full of useful information! You go home feeling prepared to take care of the pup with a travel bag of food, a doggy bed, blanket, and some of the pups favorite toys! Aguas De Seda is incredibly reputable and registered with the AKC and PWDCA. The pups are raised well and trained throughout the process even before you pick them up, and Barbara sends photo and video updates throughout the process :). Pictured is our pup Zuko! We couldn’t be happier!

Working with Barbara was not only seamless but enjoyable. She is responsive, her knowledge of Portuguese Water Dogs is expansive and her care for both her puppies and the families adopting them is genuine. It was clear that my puppy was raised in a loving, clean and well socialized environment. As a first time PWD owner, I am extremely grateful that Barbara was helpful throughout the entire process - answering questions, providing updates and thankfully sending me home with detailed instructions as to how to continue to care for my puppy properly. When I am ready for my next PWD, I will most definitely buy from Barbara - I give her my highest recommendation.

Our beautiful Lana bred by Barbara’s loving hand, we received her at just under 9lbs, and she is almost 22 pounds, We have been feeding her per Barbara’s instructions and she is literally growing before our eyes. I didn’t know a lot about the breed when my wife informed of our purchase, however have learn much since then. Lana is a masterful representative of the breed. She is wicked smart, awesome with our toddler, and loves the playground playing with children, and water of any kind. She is remarkably athletic, and is learning to leap onto beds, and does some amazing things at the playground . She came to us at 8 weeks 90pct potty trained, and fully crate trained. This is a really great breeder, and highly recommend if you want a beautiful dog, we couldn’t be more pleased with our new daughter, Lana!!

Barbara Murphy is exceptional in her care and outstanding litter management and placement procedures to assure her pups are placed into the best home environment possible!

I got my PWD baby from here in 2020, Lotus was the mom, bit late to review but working with this breeder was great, the pups were well taken care of and my baby came home at 8 weeks potty trained for the most part. We love our PWD and cannot imagine life without her
