Strengths

We’re located in Louisiana right in the Heart of Cajun country, Cocker Spaniels have always been a big part of our lives but, my love and passion for the breed started many years earlier when I was a child. We always had a pet cocker and I guess I can say they helped to raise me and my siblings.
I have been actively breeding and showing Cocker spaniels for over 20 years. My first responsibility in breeding is to breed and raise healthy, happy and sound pups for loving companion pets, show puppies, agility, obedience and/ or therapy dogs.
We take great care in selecting dogs for our showing and breeding program. We do all health screenings for eyes and hips and any other screenings if necessary to help limit chances for hereditary conditions in the off spring.

Health clearances are standardized tests recommended by breed clubs and the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) to screen breeding dogs for genetic and hereditary conditions. Common clearances include hip/elbow evaluations, eye exams (CERF/CAER), cardiac evaluations, and DNA tests for breed-specific conditions. A dog with multiple clearances indicates the breeder is actively testing to reduce the risk of passing on health problems.
