We got our papillon puppy "Olive" few weeks ago. We could not be happier. He is healthy, sweet, smart, and adorable. Kelly is a true professional and absolute pleasure to work with. From the first phone call she has been nothing but truthful, helpful, honest, and friendly. ....She has true love and passion for the breed. Her dogs are raised at home and are healthy, beautiful, and well socialized. Would recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a great papillon.

It has been such a rewarding experience to become acquainted with A Breed Apart. Kelly’s papillons are beautiful. Kelly’s knowledge, experience and caring for her dogs is so obvious and wonderful to see. We had lost our little dachshund to cancer a few years ago. We were looking for another puppy to fill the void for our little girl Gracie. She is also a papillon and was purchased from Kelly’s daughter two years prior. I was looking for Kelly’s input on what would be good for our little Gracie as far as a male or female. I was told by a breeder of yorkies that putting two females of the same breed together was a bad idea because they would not get along. I personally wanted another female but would have purchased a male if Kelly would have confirmed what I was told. Kelly reassured me that two females were fine together. We purchased a female from Kelly, her name is Lola, 17 months ago. Lola is a beautiful representation of the quality that Kelly breeds. The two females have been wonderful together. Not one issue of concern for me. I would recommend A Breed Apart, or should I say Kelly, as she is the reputation of her business and she represents it well. The care and time she puts into her dogs is obvious when you see them. If I could have given a ten star rating I would have. A Breed Apart should be a starting place for Papillons puppies. Can’t say enough about her papillons.

From our first visit to this breeder, we were warmly welcomed and immediately knew we were in the right place to choose our future puppy. Kelly is a fantastic breeder who makes sure all of her furbabies are healthy and happy. If you are looking for a "happy pappy", we strongly suggest this breeder for you!

We are so overjoyed with our "A breed apart" puppy!!! Picking a puppy in the age of Covid when you can't meet the puppies in person is so tough, especially with a cranky older Papillon in the picture, but Kelly was able to pick the perfect puppy for our family! The new puppy is so sweet and darling and tries so hard to do all the right things. Kelly also set us up with an intro Trupanion policy (which I have kept and am very happy with), and an excellent trainer as well. I am so grateful to A Breed Apart for trusting us with one of their precious babies.

Kelly is truly a wonderful, knowledgeable breeder who raises her puppies in a lovely family home environment. I brought my Papillon pup home on Nov 2nd 2019 and he has been so well adjusted and confident you can tell he had a great beginning from A Breed Apart Papillions. I would highly recommend this breeder to anyone looking to acquire one of these lovely dogs for their family.
