Kelly was an absolutely amazing woman to work with. Kind, compassionate and has such love for breeding these beautiful papillons. Yes they’re gorgeous, but their temperaments are absolutely wonderful. Little Gem and papa Percy are my babies parents and my little boy is just wonderful. I brought him home with me at 9 weeks old and I swear he came crate trained (a snuggle heartbeat puppy has been a game changer). You can tell Kelly cares so much about properly breeding these pups. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Kelly. And I know that I will be able to contact her at any time if I ever have any questions about my boy. Thank you Kelly for everything, I am so happy we found you!

I recently got my new Papillon puppy (Lily) from A Breed Apart Papillons. She is absolutely adorable. As a previous Papillon owner I already loved the breed but this little girl is a spunky, funny little cuddle bug. She is smart and in less than 2 weeks she’s doing great with potty and various other commands. I show her off with everyone and she never fails to impress. Kelly is a wonderful breeder and I couldn’t ask for a healthier and happier little munchkin. If anyone is looking for a Papillon A Breed Apart is the place to go.

We just took home our Beautiful little puppy, Chickadee, from A Breed Apart Papillons after losing our Pap of nearly 14 yrs. She is so well adjusted and healthy!We're a household with two cats and she has just rolled with it. The cats like her! Kelly is an incredible breeder. She was so informative and gave me a packet of the family health history, blood line ect. She also keeps slim touch and will answer any questions you may have. My little baby is 2 and has the most wonderful temperament. She is such a sweet and loving animal.I am looking forward to getting another pup in the future from Kelly! 🥰

Meet the Breeder
My whole life has revolved around animals, people and children. I was raised on a small farm in NH and my grandparents raised and showed poodles. I am a registered nurse and the mother of 3 children. I have been breeding Papillons for almost 30 years. Our oldest daughter, Erin, wanted a "Yittle" dog since she first learned to speak. After much research and speaking with my vet we settled on the Papillon. He told me that Papillons were a very healthy breed with very few genetic or medical concerns. We started in dog 4-H not long after acquiring our first 2 paps. Erin literally had a room full of ribbons and trophies. Erin is now married and lives nearby with her husband and 3 children. They breed, raise and train Australian Labradoodles. My 2 youngest daughters, Gianna and Selena have graduated from grooming school and help Erin and I with all that goes into raising excellent puppies. They both enjoy training, grooming and spending time with our dogs. I am pleased that I have passed my compassion and love of dogs onto my children and now grandchildren. Dogs offer so much unconditional love and always find a way to bring joy, happiness and peace! Papillons are incredible! They excel at obedience and agility, although they are just as happy being lap dogs. Whatever your lifestyle, they happily adapt and adjust. They love romping outside or can be just as easily house trained to use piddle pads for people who live in apartments. During the last 30 years I have been involved at various times with dog 4-H. I was the assistant leader for a few years. I have also been a judge at several local dog fairs. I am a certified dog trainer. I graduated with honors from Animal Behavior College. I did my apprenticeship at Petco in Manchester NH. I have also trained at All Dogs Gym and with the Greater Derry Humane Society. Most recently I put a Canine Good Citizenship Title on several of my dogs through All Breeds Training Center.
