top of page ABOUT USMeet Joe WoodThis is Pastor Joe Wood. He and his wife, Janice, have been raising registered dogs in their home for the last 23 years. They began in Oklahoma with AKC Basset Hounds then moved to Kentucky with AKC Champion Line English Bulldogs. From there they entered the world of Rottweilers for the next 15 years. Breeding, training, entering them into city parades, community events, attending ball games, and carting are some of the activities they enjoyed with their Rottweilers. They had been researching Cane Corsos for a couple years before making the switch from Rottweilers after their stud passed away. Joe Wood has trained dogs, Quarter Horses, falcons, hawks, and children. Joe enjoys training his dogs himself, constantly reading and learning, and believes that there is absolutely nothing better than a trained dog that you can take out in public and enjoy problem-free. He also believes that 15 minutes a day, one-on-one, face-to-face training with a dog will give you a better dog than anyone you have ever met. What Our Clients Say“We are so grateful to 7JCorso for providing us with our amazing Cane Corso puppy. He is so loyal, affectionate, and protective. Health clearances are standardized tests recommended by breed clubs and the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) to screen breeding dogs for genetic and hereditary conditions. Common clearances include hip/elbow evaluations, eye exams (CERF/CAER), cardiac evaluations, and DNA tests for breed-specific conditions. A dog with multiple clearances indicates the breeder is actively testing to reduce the risk of passing on health problems.
