Strengths

I love dogs. I didn’t realize what I was missing, growing up without them. Since my first puppy, I’ve fallen in love and never looked back. Our dogs are family here at 406 Doodles. I breed these wonderful dogs to share them with others who enjoy their personalities as much as we do.Hypoallergenic andWonderful temperament. Doodles are mixes with a “standard” breed and a poodle. Poodles have hair, not fur and so they are less likely to produce allergic reactions in people. When bred with standard breeds they typically carry this to the puppies. Home raised, family friendly, pet-friendly puppies. Our puppies are born and raised in our home. Each litter of puppies will be handled from the day they are born. They are raised with children, other dogs, and cats. You’ll find your 406 Doodle puppy is well-adjusted and ready for anything when he/she joins your family.
How do I know if a Doodle Puppy is right for me?Research the breeds- both parents. Determine if you’re ready for a puppy:Time – how much free time do you have? Money – vet visits, equipment, food costs all can become quite high if you’re not preparedEnvironment – is your home/apartment appropriate for a dog? Do you have items that are irreplaceable if a puppy chews them?Time – again. This is most important. You must be willing to spend time and energy to keep your puppy exercised, entertained and happy. What do you need to bring a puppy home?We require a deposit and short in-person (phone or face-to-face) interview to secure your puppy purchase. Following approval, prior to bringing your puppy home you should be prepared. We find people often forget (or never knew) how much work a puppy can be. Puppies chew on everything, need to go potty often, and demand a great deal of your time and attention to be sure they have the exercise and love they need to be healthy and well-adjusted.
