Amanda is an amazing doxie breeder! She truly loves and cares for her pups long after they have gone on to their new loving family. Our boy Geordi is the absolute best dog! He has an amazing personality. Super loving and incredibly smart. Not to mention a very handsome boy! Amanda gives all of her pups the best start to life making bringing home a new puppy much easier for the family. I highly recommend getting a puppy from her if your looking for a doxie puppy or 2. She gets them used to all the little things like baths, nail trims, checking teeth and so much more. To top it all off She rescues dogs and cats to.

I Got My Mini Dachshund from 3 Playful Kennels, It was a great experience. Amanda loves all her dogs and is an awesome care taker and breeder. My puppy came with a care package which consisted of a Dremel for her nails, leash, collar, toys, blanket, bones, a full puppy package and health records , she came with all of her shots and spayed. You could tell she was so loved and happy. I have gotten food advice and vet recommendations and support from 3 playful kennels even after my pup has been home with me for months. excellent and trustworthy !!!!

So thankful for 3 Playful Kennels and the whole adoption process being smooth and easy. Norbie is an amazing pup with great manners and personality and I can only thank Amanda for giving me such a well mannered (well more manner than expected from a pup) Norbet but also a healthy active pup that was well taken care of and loved by her before coming home. Would highly recommend her to others in search of a healthy,happy and beautiful daucshund. Just wanted to give an update. My Norbert got sick not to long ago, and she was amazing help, both in advice to helping get him better as well as advocating for me when the vets office tried to doubt his health records! Amanda is the most amazing breeder ever. She breeds for the betterment of the dachshund. I’ve had several dachshunds from her and they are all the loves of my life. Meet the Breeder
Why do we breed you ask?We breed to help improve the breed’s health, temperament, and longevity. Or at least those are our goals. Even though we haven’t been breeding long (2007), these are our number one goals, and they always will be. We’re hoping to breed semi or full-show quality dogs with many champions in their lines; we just don’t want to compromise their health to do it. Currently, we are just breeding gorgeous dogs with great health and temperaments; longevity right now is average, but we’re working on it ^_^. All of my dogs are raised on good quality food. Don’t just get a dog; buy some dog food, and there you go. Please watch what you give your new puppy or dog. Miniature Dachshunds have different dietary needs than a Chihuahua or Great Dane. Dachshunds should NOT be free-fed unless you know how to slowly wean them onto it. Otherwise, they have a habit of overeating; overeating means the dog is overweight, and being overweight implies a lot of health issues. All Dogs here, though, are raised with free feeding, so if that is the route you want, we just made it easier.With Dachshunds, you must ensure you know what you’re feeding them. NO Ol’ Roy, Alpo, Atta Boy, or anything like that; it’s like dumping a trash can over and saying pig out or raising your kid on nothing but candy. Feed your dogs healthy foods like Orijen, Instinct, Canidae, Nutro, Royal Canin, or even Pure Balance, and they will live longer healthier lives, and you’ll be grateful you went with the good foods over the cheaper ones. If the Puppy/Dog is injured or sick it must be seen by a vet, you can never take chances about whether or not it’s just something they’ll get over, it’s always best to seek good veterinary care to make sure everything is ok, as well as having regular check ups at least every 6-12 months as well as getting regular immunizations done.
